This installation explores the power of the video image to represent the intangible and to awaken inner feelings of desire, pain, isolation, and our amazement at the strength of human nature. This corpus reflects a concern about the proliferation in the media and in popular culture of a representation of the body that de-humanises it. This installation showcases the disturbing effects of our desensitization. It reflects on the impact that technologies have on our understanding and experience of various bodily and emotional conditions.
